Hi, I’m Courtney. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with companies, governments, and non-profits across industries as varied as apparel and footwear, energy, and mining - always with a lens of sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This has taught me firsthand how complex the challenges we face as a global society are - and that lasting solutions require a paradigm shift. I find that these problems tend to become more manageable—and more inspiring—when people are willing to collaborate and rethink what’s possible.
But my story isn’t just about boardrooms, metrics, and roadmaps. It’s also about dirt trails, mountain air, and the spark of connection that comes from being outside. Being surrounded by granite cliffs, old growth forests, and the Pacific Ocean in Squamish has deepened my passion for the outdoors. Hiking, running, climbing, and biking aren’t just hobbies for me. They’re ways to recharge, find perspective, and connect with the land I care about protecting.
That’s why I created this space, where my professional world and personal passions meet. It’s where I share insights on sustainability, reflections from the trail, and ideas for building a life that blends purpose with adventure. My hope is that by opening up my journey, I can help others—whether you’re a business leader, a fellow outdoor enthusiast, or someone simply curious about new ways of thinking—find inspiration to create connections and take action that makes life a little better, for people and for the planet.
